A meeting has been held on November 17, 2020 between High Rank Directors of the Medical Fields in Iran and the Vice Chancellor for Research and International Affairs' Director of Vienna University of Medical Sciences of Austria. Russian Consul General, Boris Burmistrov, along with his delegate have paid a visit to IUMS on 7th of July. They had a meeting with the Head of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, in which the Vice Chancellors of Research and Education and the Director of International Affairs of the University were also present. The two sister cities of Isfahan and St. Petersburg had a video conference on 16 June 2020 regarding Corona confrontation, which was held by Isfahan municipality. Isfahan University of Medical Sciences' representatives took active part at this event. The experiences regarding prevention, management and control of COVID-19 as well as researches in that area were discussed at this conference.

The Dean of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, together with a high rank delegate of this university, had a travel to Pakistan in order to explore and negotiate the possibilities of joint research projects and educational activities. As a result of this trip three agreements were signed between this university and the Universities of Lahoure, University of Health sciences, and Punjab University of Pakistan, and a joint doctoral program in the field of public health will soon be defined.
