The residential complex of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences is located in the southeastern corner of the campus.

The complex includes student dormitories, as well as apartments for academic and administrative staff. The University has eight dormitories (4 boys dormitories and 4 girls dormitories) which house a total of 2000 students.

All dormitory buildings enjoy facilities such as supermarkets, restaurants, gymnasiums, playgrounds and cycling areas.

Rooms offered to undergraduate students accommodate up to 4 students; postgraduate students are offered single or double rooms. Each room is supplied with a phone line and internet access. Dormitory libraries and computer rooms in each building facilitate study and research activities. Male foreign students are allocated a specific dormitory. Female foreign students live in the same buildings as female Iranian students.

All dormitory buildings are supplied with a free transportation system.

A fleet of 10 buses transports students to and from dormitories to all faculty buildings on the campus and a fulltime clinic provides students with emergency, ambulance and general dentistry services free of charge.

Congregational prayers are held at dormitory mosques on a regular basis. Counselors based at the dormitories provide students with advice in various areas such as education, marriage, cultural activities, etc.
